How does the blocking actually work?
Awda uses Apple’s Screen Time framework to pause the apps you choose at each prayer window — at the system level, not an overlay you can swipe away.
What if I genuinely need my phone?
Calls, messages, maps and every app you didn’t select keep working. For true emergencies, there’s an Emergency Unblock — deliberate enough that the feed never qualifies.
Does it account for menstruation?
Yes. Menstrual mode excuses prayers for that period without breaking your streak or your history — quietly and privately.
Will the prayer times match my city and method?
Awda calculates times for your exact location and lets you choose your calculation method and adjust each prayer manually.
Is my prayer data private?
